Dominique Barneaud has been producing television and cinema films for several years. After beeing certified in business studies (ESM in France and at the Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo Michigan - USA), he worked in a distribution company in the USA (Fox/Lorber Inc – New York).As a producer, he worked at the ECPA and for Cappa-DeFina Productions in the USA, before creating Kalamazoo Films in 1992. He got into the producers council of AGAT FILMS & Cie / EX NIHILO in november 2000 where he is working on the production of many feature films projects, documentaries and live shows. He is now producing Laurent Achard’s second feature film "LE DERNIER DES FOUS", a new film with Jean-Jacques Zilbermann, co-written by Philippe Lasry "LA PETITE VIS DE LA CULTURE", "PLANETE SAHARA" by Serge Dubor and Olivier Ducastel et Jacques Martineau’s new film "L'ARBRE ET LA FORET". He has just finished, for Arte France : "MON JULES VERNE" by Patricio Guzmàn, "OCEANAUTES" by Jérôme Scemla, "BAGDAD, LA VIE MALGRÉ TOUT" by M.A. Poyet and will finish soon "NOMADE DU CIEL" by François Chilowicz for a thematic night in 2006. Among his last productions: "LES FAUTES D'ORTHOGRAPHE" long feature film by Jean-Jacques Zilbermann, with Damien Jouillerot, Carole Bouquet, Olivier Gourmet. Co-production France 3 Cinéma, StudioCanal. Launched on november, 3rd 2004 by Bac Films. (Opening of the Locarno Festival 2004) "CODE 68" long feature film by Jean-Henri Roger, with Judith Cahen, Stanislas Merhar, Ariane Ascarides (launched in july 2005 by Bac Films) "9M2" series of 5x26' and a film of 90' co-produced by Arte France and Lieux Fictifs (Locarno 2005 –launches on February, 1st 2006) "LE ROSSIGNOL" musical movie by Christian Chaudet, co-produced par Arte France and Mikros Image (FIPA d'Or 2005 catégorie musique et spectacle vivant). "LES INFIRMIERES" documentary series of 10 x 26' by François Chilowicz, co-produced by Arte France and France 3 Sud. "LES HOMMES DU LABICI B" documentary by François Chilowicz, co-production ARTE France (Prix des bibliothèques du festival Cinéma du Réel 2003 et Grand Prix du Festival Traces de vie de Rueil) "MOZART, L’ENIGME K621b" documentary by Thierry Nutchey and Olivier Julien, european co-production co-produced by France 3 (Special Jury Prize, Golden Prague 99; Sélections FIPA 2000 and Banff 2000). "CITIZEN CAM" by Jérôme Scemla, co-produced by Canal +, Paris Première and Saga Films, Iceland (golden FIPA at FIPA 2000 – fiction category; Selection Banff 2000). "J'AIME LE SON DE LA KALACHNIKOV, ÇA ME RAPPELLE TCHAIKOVSKY" a feature documentary by Philippe Vartan Khazarian (Marseille, Rotterdam, Di Popoli, New York, Edimburgh). Dominique Barneaud was vice-chairman of SPI television college between March 99 and November 2000. He has had a seat for 3 years at the Procirep Television commission. He is a member of the USPA union committee and has represented Agat Films / Ex Nihilo at TVF1 since 2001. He is also a mediator and a consultant for the European program Media in production. |
