Was born on May 25, 1979, in Zonguldak, a mining city on the Turkish Black Sea coast. She resettled in Istanbul in 1997 in order to attend the undergraduate program for ‘Radio - TV - Cinema’ at the Marmara University. During the last year of her studies at the university, and after her graduation in 2001, Demir has worked in the production of numerous TV series and feature films as director assistant . she also had experiences on commercial film and music video. Her career as a director began in 2006 with the TV series titled “Kizlar Yurdu” (Girls’ Dorm), which was also created by Demir. (She has still directing tv serials) . in the beginning 2008 she joined to “14 film productions”
