 Born in 1978 - Bursa
He has graduated from Film&Tv department of Galatasaray University,
Faculty of Communication in the year of 2002. He received a prize with his
original script named ‘Kayıplar’ (The missing ones) at the script contest
held by Halikarnassos Environment Film Festival. Then he wrote and
directed his short film named ‘Fotoğraflarda’ (On the pictures) which was
about the permanent marks left on the people who survived the
earthquake in İstanbul in 1999. This short film was selected officially to
various film festivals.
He became assitant director in the feature film ‘Taş yastık’ (The stone
pillow) which was directed by Fatih Hacıosmanoğlu. Then he worked as an
assitant of stage management in the feature flm of ‘Bir İhtimal Daha Var’
(There is one option) directed by Uğur Uludağ.
He received the best script prize at the contest of Inonu University short
film festival with the short version of ‘Kapat Gözlerini’ (Close your eyes).
Then he decided to convert this short script into a feature length movie.
He wrote three different film scripts for TV production called ‘The father’
‘The son’ and ‘For the sake of Ratings’, none of those were produced. In
the year 2007, he shot his script mattering the subject of unemployment
problem in Turkey. The movie named ‘İş Arıyoruz’ (Looking for a job) is at
the stage of post-production.
