Since1975, Margaret Menegoz is producer, distributor, exporter and manager of the company Films du Losange, created in 1962 by Barbet Schroeder and Eric Rohmer. She has among many others, produced several German Authors such as Wim Wenders (L’ami américain in co-production with avec Road Movies – Germany, Official selection at the Cannes Film Festival 1977), Rainer Werner Fassbinder (La Roulette Chinoise, in co-production with Albatros - Germany, 1977), Volker Schlöndorff (Un amour de Swann, in co-production with Bioskop, 1983), Helma Sanders (L’avenir d’Emilie, in co-production with Litterarisches Colloquium Berlin, 1984) and Michael Haneke (Caché, Best Director Award, Ecumenical Award and Fipresci Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005, Best European Film, Best European Director, Best Actor, Best Editing and Fipresci Awards at the European Film Academy in 2005, Le Temps du Loup, Non competitive Official Selection at the Cannes Festival in 2003). A great many of her productions have been honoured by Awards: Special Jury Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 1975 for La Marquise d’O by Eric Rohmer, Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival for Pauline à la plage, by Eric Rohmer in 1982, The Gold Lion at the Venice Film Festival for Le rayon vert, by Eric Rohmer in 1986, Golden Globe Best Movie Award 1990 for Europa Europa by Agnieska Holland, etc.

President of Unifrance, Member of the French-German Academy of Film, Member of the Association of Film Exporters, Member of the Board of the French Cinematheque, Margaret Menegoz never ceases to work in favour of the development of French cinema in Europe and on an International Level, within these organisations.
