Producer WY PRODUCTIONS

WY Productions, created in July 2002 by Wassim Béji is currently producing Jalil Lespert’s first feature film as a director “24 Mesures” co-written with Yann Apperry (High School Goncourt Award for « Farrago »), which will be released in theatres on December 5th 2007.

In 2004, WY Productions produced Jalil Lespert’s short film « De Retour », awarded among others, the quality prize of the CNC as well as the Male Leading Part Award at the last Clermont Ferrand festival.

WY Productions also produced Bruno Chiche’s second feature film “Hell” starring Sara Forestier and Nicolas Duvauchelle.

WY Productions is pursuing it development policy in 2008, by attempting to explore different cinematographic genres: the adaptation of Jules Romains’ play “Knock” with the contribution of the young author Raphaël Frydman (« Adieu Babylone ») as well as Jalil Lespert’s next feature film « Eastern ’.

WY Productions will also produce it’s first thriller « Petite Musique de nuit » developed by Antoine Raimbault and Lucas Bernard, the story of a young blind cello player who is tracked by a murderer in her own home. WY PRODUCTIONS also produces different types of film such as documentaries and corporate films.
