Producer - Director

Born on May 18th 1964, in Algiers, Lotfi Bouchouchi graduates from ESEC in Paris.

At the beginning of the nineties, he works as assistant director on several feature films with Merzak Allouache and Mohamed Chouikh among other names.

In parallel, he also works as Production manager for the Algerian Television.

Since 1995, he is accredited by the Algerian State to cover current-day news and works on behalf of foreign television channels and Press agencies such as TF1 and APTN.

From 2000, he directs documentaries and commercials. He also co-produces feature films among which « Viva l’Aldjerie » by Nadir Moknache and « Barakat » by Djamila Sahraoui.

His company BL FILMS has produced more than fifty commercials for Henkel, Coca Cola, Danone etc. and collaborates with advertising agencies such as EURO RSCG, FP7 Mc Cann, DDB.
